New Tour Operator website for Direct Traveller

Monday, 03 Feb, 2010 0

Direct Traveller, specialists in North Cyprus holidays and travel, have launched their new website DirectTraveller.com. Direct Traveller has been the strongest North Cyprus tour operator for 6 consecutive years and is now recognised as the UK’s leading tour operator to North Cyprus, sending more holidaymakers to the region than any other tour operator in the UK.

In 2008 Direct Traveller achieved 100% sales growth and in 2009 they saw a sales growth of 55%. As a result, the tour operator is hoping to see an increase in sales of 40% this year, and with this in mind they invested in the new website and updated to the latest version of CSI Media’s Tour Operator platform. Direct Traveller approached CSI Media, who built their previous bespoke website, to create a new site with added functionality and features.

The website has been created with a fresh new look and allows customers, agents and call centre staff to book North Cyprus travel online quickly and easily at any time of the day or night. The Tour Operator solution, which was developed by CSI Media supports the new website and allows Direct Traveller to be more flexible and offer customers a wide range of holiday options with the use of the in-house packaging functionality. The Tour Operator software also helps Direct Traveller to streamline operations resulting in increased productivity for the travel company.

Enver Ozdemir of DirectTraveller.com said “The main reason we were attracted to the CSI Media Tour Operator system over other systems is that we have the ability to control all of our stock easily with a user friendly interface.

For a specialist tour operator this system is perfect, and it has helped us to be the fastest growing tour operator to North Cyprus for six consecutive years. With the new system, we’re hoping to increase our sales even further during 2010.”

CSI Media’s Tour Operator system was developed as a one-stop solution for tour operators, low cost airlines, flight providers and bed stock companies. However, recent investment and changes mean that system is no longer just for traditional package suppliers but is an ideal solution for providers of coach tours and also operators offering excursions and attraction tickets.

CSI Media’s Tour Operator system, which Direct Traveller partly attribute their success to, is aimed at the following sectors:

• Escorted tours and group travel
• Pre-packaged holidays
• Dynamic packaged holidays
• UK holiday parks
• European holiday parks
• Specialist and tailor-made tours
• Cottages and villas
• Hotels
• Attractions
