Talk about a cost-effective vacation in a brand new resort.

Universal’s new Cabana Bay Beach Resort is offering a sneak peek preview prior to its 2014 opening, with rock-bottom rates starting at $104 for a family of six.

The first guests at the moderate-and value-priced property can share a family suite at rates ranging from $104 per night for a seven-night stay to $134 per night for a three-night stay, almost half off the rack rate.

Reservations must be booked by January 31, 2014, for stays between March 31 and June 14.

Each suite contains a kitchenette with a microwave, sink and mini-refrigerator.

Designed with a retro feel reminiscent of beach resorts in the 1950s, the hotel is within walking distance of Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and hotel guests get early admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

When complete, the 1,800-room hotel will offer a 10-lane bowling alley, two massive pools with sand beaches, a lazy river and a waterslide.
