New ‘Wave’ of promotions from cruise lines
Royal Caribbean is launching an ‘Unbeatable Sale’ campaign for 2013 with reduced airfares, free balcony upgrades and money to spend on board.
Agents will also be targeted with incentives, branded merchandise, videos and interactive maps.
Those agents booking and confirming a 2013 cruise as part of the Unbeatable Sale campaign, between December 10 and February 28, will be entered into a daily prize draw to win one of five £100 Love to Shop vouchers.
Head of trade sales Nicki Tempest-Mitchell said: "We are offering up to $1,000 for bookings made during the turn-of-year campaign, which is massive and the largest added-value booking incentive we’ve ever done."
"We’ve also produced some great videos to bring the experience to life and ensure that agents are in the best position to sell all the extras that are now included in the price."
Agents will receive branded point of sale stands, bunting, balloons and pens.
A new mini brochure featuring details on the new pricing, top offers and full details on selling tips for the campaign will also be distributed to agents at the end of December.
- Celebrity Cruises is offering a complimentary drinks packages on 2013 cruises booked during its campaign period.
And agents can also get in on the action with weekly giveaways of iPhone 5s, iPad minis and the chance to win a grand prize of a MacBook Air.
UK clients booking between December 10 and February 28 will get the classic drinks package worth $50 per person per day, absolutely free as part of the cruise lines’ ‘Incredible Sale’.
Further offers include free accommodation upgrades and flights from as little as £49 to join cruises departing from European ports of call.
A dedicated Incredible Sale mini brochure will support the campaign and detail the offers, new prices and itineraries included.

The complimentary classic drinks package includes domestic beers, spirits, house wines, specialty coffees and soft drinks.
