World of Accor – the largest hotel expo in the Asia Pacific – is on show in Australia next month in Melbourne (7th August) and Sydney (9th August), offering agents, wholesalers, corporate bookers, and MICE organisers a one-stop shop to discover the latest in accommodation product and trends across the region.

Over 50 hotels have been added by Accor in the Asia Pacific region over the past year, with new destinations, new product and services available to the travel industry.

Representatives from Accor’s 300 hotels across Australia, the Pacific and Asia will be attending, along with representatives covering the wider world of Accor, whose global network has now grown to almost 4000 hotels in 92 countries.

In particular, Accor has grown rapidly in a number of key destinations sold by Australia’s travel industry, including Fiji, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Thailand and China and a further 30 hotels are scheduled to open by the end of the year.

In Australia, delegates will be able to hear about important new hotel openings in cities such as Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide, as well as resort areas including Port Macquarie, Phillip Island, South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula, Hervey Bay, Palm Cove, Busselton and Kiama.

In addition, Sofitels in Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast are unveiling spectacular new looks. Sofitel is also very active in Asia, with the flagship for Accor’s rapidly growing China network – Sofitel Wanda Beijing – opening in August.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day and registered visitors will have the chance to win a range of accommodation prizes across the Asia Pacific.

Accor is inviting all interested travel industry professionals, including travel agents, wholesalers, MICE organizers and corporate travel bookers.
