Delta Air Lines’ new wing at the $3.9 billion Terminal C at New York La Guardia Airport has been unveiled.

The new 105,000-square-foot concourse officially opens next Monday with seven gates which will be used mostly for its shuttle services to Boston, Chicago and Washington DC.

It features a number of new dining and retail outlets including H&H Bagels, and offers views of Flushing Bay and Citi Field, home of the Mets.

It is part of a complete $8 billion revamp of the airport once described by Joe Biden as ‘third world’ standard.

"The opening of the first new concourse at Terminal C is a major milestone that takes us one step closer to transforming LaGuardia Airport into a global gateway," said New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

"We’re building the nation’s first completely new airport in 25 years and showing the nation that you can be ambitious and get big things done."

The terminal will eventually have 37 gates spread across four concourses and a centralized screening area.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is funding $600 million for the cost of the terminal, while Delta is paying the rest.

Other major changes at the airport include expanded tarmac space new access roads and a light rail service connecting the airport with midtown Manhattan.

About 31 million passengers are expected to pass through LaGuardia this year.

Delta is the largest carrier with nearly 300 flights a day.
