No budget blues at Changi
The budget terminal at Singapore’s Changi Airport has seen its last flight.
With low-cost flights now based in Terminal 2, adjustments have been made to accommodate an expected extra five million yearly passengers from the budget terminal.
Check-in counters dedicated to budget carriers like Tiger Airways have been set up.
"There’ll be more facilities, more amenities, more shopping, more retail, that’s available for our passengers," said Koay Peng Yen, Tiger’s group chief executive.
