Nominate now for World Travel Awards
Nominations are now open for the 2011 World Travel Awards.
Companies wishing to enter should download an entry form at www.worldtravelawards.com/entry2011 by Friday February 4.
The organisers said for the 2010 awards, self nominations rose 50% compared to the previous year.
The complete nomination’s list will be announced in time for ITB in March.
Voting will then open and be carried out by an audience of 183,000 travel agents and tourism professionals from 164 countries, as well as visitors to World Travel Awards website who are encouraged to submit their votes via the online voting system.
World Travel Awards president and founder Graham E. Cooke said: “With 2010 proving to be one of the toughest on record for the travel and tourism industry, we saw the true leaders of travel turn adversity into opportunity and 2011 will be no different.
“We are looking for companies that go the extra mile to outperform their peers and truly offer an exceptional experience for their customer as well as exceeding business performance with innovative ideas.”
