Northwest Airlines and KLM to start Heathrow flights to three US airports
Northwest Airlines and its joint venture partner, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, are launching three daily nonstop flights from London Heathrow to Detroit, Minneapolis/St. Paul and Seattle.
The first Heathrow-Minneapolis/St Paul will start on March 30, while Detroit services start on May 2 and Seattle on June 1.
Operating from Terminal 4, the new nonstop services will connect Heathrow with more than 250 destinations throughout the US.
Northwest will also continue to operate daily round-trip flights between London Gatwick and Detroit.
