Norwegian cruise brands dropping vaccination requirement
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings will ease pre-cruise testing rules and waive proof of vaccine requirements starting next month.
From Sept. 3, fully vaccinated travelers can board without testing on Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Unvaccinated guests can sail with a negative Covid testtaen within 72 hours.
Children under 12 do not have to be vaccinated or be tested.
“Our revisions to testing and vaccination requirements bring us closer in line with the rest of society, which has learned to adapt and live with Covid-19,” Norwegian President and CEO Frank Del Rio said.
Local requirements supercede these rules if local regulations differ ‘including but not limited to Canada, Greece and Bermuda,’ NCLH said.
