Norwegian makes management changes
Norwegian has appointed a new chief financial officer to replace acting CFO Tore Ostby, who will take up the new role of executive vice president strategic development.
Geir Karlsen was previously group CFO at the London-based shipping group Navig8Group and has extensive experience from listing companies within shipping and offshore.
The airline has also appointed a new chief information officer, Kurt Simonsen, who has for the past 17 years been a partner and co-owner of the consulting company Infocom Group AS.
Simonsen, an electronics engineer, also has experience from Hewlett-Packard and Telenor.
