Norwegian to add more flights to New York
Low-cost airline Norwegian is to launch an additional daily flight between London and New York in the autumn.
Starting on October 29, the extra frequency will depart from London Gatwick at 09.50 and land at New York JFK at 13.00.
The return flight will leave JFK at 19.40 and land at Gatwick at 07.10 the following day.
Norwegian said the additional service had been added due to passenger demand. It will give the airline up to three flights a day on the Gatwick to JFK route.
Prices start from £155 one way in economy and £455 one way in Premium and are available to book today.
Chief commercial officer Thomas Ramdahl said: "New York remains one of the most popular routes for Norwegian customers and we are delighted to be able to offer an additional frequency between London Gatwick and JFK Airport which will provide even further choice and flexibility combined with great value."
