Norwegian unveils new aqua park thrills for Escape
Norwegian Cruise Lines’ latest ship will have the largest water park facility at sea, featuring four water slides and a dedicated kids’ aqua park, the line has revealed.
The centerpiece of a host of new amenities for the line, the Norwegian Escape will boast an ‘Aqua Racer’ tandem ride and ‘Free Fall’ – a side-by-side set of slides.
In addition, the ship will have a three-story high rope course, a full size basketball court, and for the first time, a bocce ball court.
Norwegian said Escape will also debut its first dedicated shipboard nursery for children aged two years and under.
The 4,200-passenger ship is scheduled to start year-round Caribbean cruises from Miami from next November.
