Norwich boosted by traffic to Amsterdam
Norwich Airport has seen record passenger numbers due to increased demand for its flights to Amsterdam.
The airport recorded its busiest week so far, week ending September 15th, with passenger numbers up 17% on the same time last year.
The boost follows a fourth daily rotation of KLM’s service to Amsterdam Schipol which is seen to be a major contributing factor.
The summer 2013 season has also seen holidaymakers grow more than 58% year on year, with Thomson First Choice more than doubling the number of holidays on offer from Norwich.
Thomas Cook has also increased their volumes this year, added the airport.
