Now Bali has a luxury B&B
Bali’s first luxury bed & breakfast, Villa Juno, has opened overlooking rice fields in Canggu, 20 minutes from Seminyak.
A private residence built in traditional Balinese style, the villa comprises three air conditioned bedroom units, fitted with their own patios, indoor oversized bathtubs for two, and outdoor shower areas set in a miniature rock garden.
The B&B is run by the property’s owner, Mrs Mahita Geekie, who set up her home in Bali after nearly 30 years of a working life spanning hospitality and advertising in Singapore with companies such as Singapore Airlines, Ogilvy & Mather and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Measuring 63 sqm, each unit at Villa Juno is housed in separate pavilions flanking a garden courtyard.
Beds are custom made to super king size. Other facilities include in-room safes, writing desk, 32†flat screen plasma TV screen and DVD players. Villa Juno is entirely wifi enabled
Not more than six guests are housed at any one time. The stay is inclusive of breakfast and afternoon tea.
Introductory rates at Villa Juno start from US$120 per room per night and from US$290 per villa per night.
Rates are subject to 10% tax and 5% service charge. Minimum two nights’ stay during low season and five nights during high and peak seasons.
