NSW sticks with Carlson Wagonlit
Carlson Wagonlit Travel has secured the New South Wales Government’s travel management contract for a second term of three years.
CWT began working with the NSW Government in Australia in 2005
Martin Warner, CWT chief operating officer Asia Pacific, said, “Central to the success of the NSW Government travel programme is the implementation of the Lowest Logical Fare policy, which ensures that travellers must book the cheapest practical airfare within a 20 minute window regardless of airline preference, and the transition to online booking.â€
Warner said that by focusing on the key priorities of reducing cost, adopting new technology, increasing policy awareness and educating buyers, “a modern and efficient travel programme has been establishedâ€.
NSW government travellers had demonstrated their willingness to work with CWT to adopt this cost effective technology and drive efficiency and savings, Warner said.
