NYC & Company rebrands to New York City Tourism + Conventions
NYC & Company is now officially renamed as New York City Tourism + Conventions.
The destination’s new brand system includes a new brand strategy and comprehensive visual identity system.
The refreshed New York City tourism brand sports a new logo, color standards, typography, art direction and graphics.
It was unveiled by President and CEO Fred Dixon.
The launch coincides with a social campaign, #WHATSGOODNYC, harnessing the ‘opinion power” of the City’s 8.5 million New Yorkers.
“The new branding reflects our city’s energy and spirit and will make sure everyone knows that there’s never been a better time to visit,” said New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
“The introduction of our new name and brand marks a significant moment for our organization,” said Fred Dixon.
@nyctourism and @nyctourismnews encourage New Yorkers and travelers to share using the hashtag #WhatsGoodNYC.
The economic recovery continued in 2022 with over 56 million travelers — a 72.5% increase over 2021.
The city saw 9.4 million international travelers, more than triple the number in 2021.
NYC also hosted over four million business travelers.
It remains on track to welcome 63.3 million visitors in 2023.
