On the Beach extends payment deadline
Online travel agent On the Beach is to depart from the travel industry norm and allow customers to pay the balance of their holiday just 30 days before they travel.
The agency said it was extending the payment period in response to consumer demand.
On the Beach takes a deposit of 10 per person for hotel bookings and 55 per person for flights.
Marketing director Alistair Daly said: “The nation is still very much feeling the pinch and we believe this new service allows customers to plan their holiday well in advance without having to commit as much money upfront.”
