Once in lifetime trips

So where would you go once in a lifetime?

iExplore has the answer:

No. 1 is a champagne flight to the North Pole, followed by a trip to Timbuktu (Mali) and back, of course.

Other dream trips include staying with a Mongolian family in the Gobi desert and sea kayaking the Panama Canal.

Founded in 1999, iExplore made their list from travel inquiries, said founder and CEO George Deeb. He said the list shows how far consumers or baby boomers, particularly, are willing to go for a unique trip and “travel bragging rights for a lifetime.”

Other top ten trips included cage diving with sharks in South Africa, a camel caravan across the Sahara Desert, trekking to a Mount Everest base camp, a hot springs bath in Iceland, a balloon safari over Tanzania and walking on the rainforest tree canopies in the Amazon.
