Oneworld launches campaign to attract corporate business in Belgium
Oneworld has launched a drive to gain a larger slice of the business travel market in Belgium.
The airline alliance is offering small and medium-sized companies in Belgium discounts of up to almost 50% on international air fares if they form more regular relationships with the alliance.
Clients can register for its specially discounted “businessflyer” tickets to fly to more than 100 cities in Europe, North America, South American, Asia and Australasia.
The fares are flexible and are available from Brussels with some flights also from Amsterdam or Luxembourg.
Businessflyer was originally launched in Germany in 2003 and then extended to France, Switzerland and the Netherlands. More than 4,000 companies have signed up in these four markets.
Five of Oneworld’s existing member airlines serve Belgium – American Airlines, British Airways, Iberia, Finnair and Aer Lingus.
The campaign is being supported by a massive direct mail campaign, posting details to thousands of small to medium businesses, organisations and to agents.
