Online Regional Travel Group buys Richmond Travel
The Online Regional Travel Group has added Isle of Man-based Richmond Travel to its fold.
The agency, which was sold by retired owners George and Helen Aaron, will continue to operate under the same name and from the same offices in Douglas.
The ORTG aims to boost Richmond Travel’s customer service with the latest IT systems.
The group, which is also based in Douglas, incorporates Mann Link Travel in the Isle of Man, Bellingham Travel in Jersey and Wayfarers World Travel in Guernsey as well as travel websites www.manxflights.com and www.justtheflight.co.uk
“We will enhance customers’ experience by adding the latest IT and telecommunications systems which are now so vital in the travel industry.
“This will mean using new software which will give Richmond Travel customers access to special fares and deals, as well as making it quicker and easier to book all of their travel needs,” said CEO of the Online Regional Travel Group, Brian Kelly.
