Online travel agent unveils world’s best airlines
Emirates has knocked Singapore Airlines off the top spot as the world’s best airline based on reviews by eDreams customers.
The online travel agent has published a list of the top 10 airlines after analysing more than 90,000 customer reviews from around the world.
Notably missing from the list are UK-based airlines British Airways and Virgin, plus Ryanair who recently won a legal battle with eDreams to stop it using the subdomain Ryanair.eDreams.de.
Top scorer Emirates achieved an overall rating of 4.24 out of the maximum of 5 and scored the highest rating for overall cleanliness and modernity of its planes, in-flight entertainment and luggage handling.
