Oops – a touch of unintentional ambush marketing perhaps?

Hey it coulld happen to anyone, but it is amazing sometimes how circumstances appear to conspire against one, just when you want everything to go your way.

Yesterday was no different for Qantas, with two Virgin Blue 737’s [pictured right] waiting on the nearby taxi way for take off, right in camera shot of the assembled media, when the massive Qantas A380 came floating in.

In addition, who could have guessed that Singapore Airlines would happen to have one of their A380’s [pictured left] parked right in camera shot of the media snapping away the A380 when it was taxiing to the hanger, along with liberal sprinkling of aircraft including United and Etihad!

Ah, well the best laid plans, but at the end of the day none did anything to detract from the arrival of this amazing aircraft and the milestone we are told it represents for Qantas.

A report by the Mole on location from Sydney International Airport for the arrival of the new Qantas A380.
