Operator ceases trading
Northern Ireland based tour operator and ATOL licence holder Strandtown Travel, trading as Acetours, has collapsed.
The Civil Aviation authority said the company ceased trading today.
Acetours, owned by Edward and Ann Couser, lists a host of tours on its website, most of which were cancelled because of the pandemic.
The company offered escorted tours to Europe and the Middle East and ‘occasionally further afield’, according to he website.
"Every one of our tours is led by either Alan or Ann Couser, both of whom have had almost 40 years of experience looking after peoples holidays," it adds.
