Luxury operator CV Travel remains ‘committed’ to publishing a range of brochures despite maintaining a strong online presence.

Introducing ten brochures for 2010, managing director Debbie Marshall said: “The brochures are meticulously produced and highly informative, written by our own staff who have visited the houses and the destinations.

“While we have a strong online presence and a very user-friendly website, we are still committed to producing a portfolio of brochures that reflect the quality of the product and that are an inspiration to browse through.”

The ten brochures represent a 50% increase in the number produced over the past five years.

The expansion includes the addition of new destinations, a dedicated hotels brochure, the first British houses and cottages brochure and a new 2009/10 Ski Verbier brochure.

The UK brochure follows the online launch of a collection of British houses and cottages in January.

New properties for 2010 include The West Wing in Chippenham, part of a medieval manor house set in mature rose gardens with a flower meadow, terraced lawns, a pond, orchard, folly and outdoor swimming pool, and Brecon Beacons Cottage, a 16th century stone farmhouse with its own natural waterfall and plunge pool.

Marshall said: “It is particularly excitingthat our collection of British houses has proven so popular, as we are finding that some clients will book both a CV Travel overseas and UK holiday, whilst others book a CV Travel villa and one of the exceptional chalets featured in the Ski Verbier programme.”

Seven of the other brochuresare specific to the Greek Islands, Italy, France, Spain, Balearics & Portugal, Caribbean, North Africa & Arabia, South Africa & Worldwide and are joined by a new Hotels 2010/11 brochure, featuring boutique and luxury properties around the world.

The operator has also introduced The Private Collection, which includes luxurious, fully staffed villas on the Greek islands.

This is due to be expanded to other regions early next year.

The operator says it is contracting villas owned by individuals who, "for reasons of security or anonymity", wish to rent their exclusive and often very expensive homes, in a low key and understated way.
