Operator reports ‘avalanche’ of ski bookings
Club Med is reporting ski bookings for its winter 2014/15 are up 21% year-on-year.
The figures have been boosted by a 13% increase in new client bookings.
Direct and online sales have increased 24% compared to this time last year.
The release of the figures come as Club Med prepares to open a four-star resort in Val Thorens this season.
The area is rated as one of the most popular skiing locations and the new resort will cater for more advanced skiers and those looking for adventure with a range of innovative snow sports including speed-riding and winter mountain biking.
