Operator sees 400% rise in bookings
Travel 2 has seen a four-fold increase in online bookings since the relaunch of its website travel2.com.
The operator says searches on the recently revamped site are up an astonishing 815%.
Sales and marketing director Gordon McCreadie said: “We believe the increases in searches and bookings are a result of the user friendly functionality of the website which includes the new package holiday search and option to book both open jaw flights and British Airways ITX fares as part of a package."
Travel 2 is encouraging agents to book online with a new loyalty programme that awards more points for bookings made via travel2.com. Prizes up for grabs in the next three months include a car, holidays, iPads and vouchers.
