Opodo announces new head of corporate communications
Opodo has announced that Ben Hall, formerly of Virgin Atlantic, will head its Corporate Communication and PR operations.
Opodo CEO Giovanni Bisignani welcomed Mr Hall saying that his role was pivotal to the development of Opodo in Europe. Bisignani added: “I have every confidence he will be a key player in Opodo achieving its objective to become the leading European online travel service by 2004.”
Mr Hall, who previously held the position of Press and Public Relations Manager for Virgin Atlantic, will be based in London and report directly to Giovanni Bisignani. His responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of Corporate and Consumer PR, press and communication activities for the Opodo brand across Europe.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Hall said: “I am delighted to be joining Opodo at such an exciting time in the brand’s development. Opodo is uniquely placed to offer the consumer unparalleled choice and flexibility as well as exceptional fares.”
