Opodo launches in Spain
Online travel company Opodo has continued its rapid expansion with the launch in Spain of www.opodo.es.
The move marks the entry of Opodo into its ninth European market.
Despite in its relative infancy, the online travel market in Spain is predicted to reach around 15% of the overall Spanish industry by 2006.
Opodo chief executive Simon Vincent said: “Opodo is following aggressive growth strategy which over the last five months has seen us move from operating in three markets to having a presence in eight.”
