Orient Lines is to operate from Dover next year as part of an expanded range of sailings.
The cruise company is to run 10 new itineraries and offer 10 new destinations for the ship Marco Polo.
The new itineraries, with prices starting at £849 in the Mediterranean, include a range of cruises to or from Dover, including a 19-night Mediterranean Treasures trip from £1,799 per person departing Dover on September 18, 2005. Bookings made 120 days before departure qualify for a discount of up to 50%.
A new 2005-06 brochure includes a total of 30 itineraries of between seven and 33 nights, onboard the 826-passenger Marco Polo.
New destinations include Berlin, Brest (France), Brussels, Gdansk (Poland), Genoa (Italy), Izmir (Turkey), Split (Croatia), Turku (Finland), Tromso/Honningsvag (Norway) and Visby (Sweden).
The programme sees Marco Polo cover the Mediterranean, Scandinavia and the Baltics from April to October 2005 and South America, Panama Canal and Antarctica from October to April 2006.
Orient Lines UK general manager Stephen Park said: “Our new brochure aims to bring all that Orient Lines has always offered and to add something new and unique to the mix.”
