Online travel booking platform Hotels.com has rolled out a new concierge service via its mobile app.

Hotels.com Concierge allows users to do everything from ordering a pizza, book an Uber ride or city tour, and make restaurant reservations with the touch of a button.

The Concierge function is powered by the Button Marketplace and currently available on iOS, Android and Amazon Kindle devices.

It has teamed up with a roster of suppliers including Uber, on-demand food delivery service delivery.com, OpenTable and Groupon for activities.

"Mobile is changing the way people travel, and at the forefront of that we’re constantly innovating and investing in mobile, to offer more than just hotel bookings. We want to make our customers lives easier before, during and after their trip," said Daniel Craig, senior director of mobile at Hotels.com.

A new survey by the company says nearly half of travelers would use a mobile concierge service.

Most popular functions asked for are restaurant reservations, help with directions and booking tickets for attractions.

"Button is thrilled to launch the first mobile linking solution for the travel industry in partnership with Hotels.com, and now with Button, those same opportunities can be pursued in mobile.  The innovators at Hotels.com have shown how Button’s technology can be used to enhance people’s travel – and we’re thrilled to be playing such an integral part," said Michael Jaconi, Button CEO and founder.
