Outrigger hits the ground running
PHUKET – The Outrigger Laguna Phuket Resort and Villas opened this week with bookings for December and January topping 75 percent.
Outrigger said its second property in Phuket opened on time in an environment, “where many hotel openings have been delayed”.

The property’s opening general manager, Pieter van der Hoeven, praised “exceptional booking levels” from Korea, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia.
The 68-villa property is part of the Laguna Phuket destination resort at Bang Tao beach.
Outrigger Laguna Phuket Resort and Villas guests have signing privileges at 30 food and beverage outlets and spa facilities across Laguna Phuket, and at the nearby Laguna Phuket Golf Course.
The resort is offering special opening rates valid until March 31, 2011.
Outrigger Serenity Terraces Resort in Phuket is now fully open. Phase II was completed in November with the addition of the rooftop pool suites, each with their own lap pool. The resort soft opened on 2 April.
