Outrigger Resort Khao Lak opens
Outrigger’s new beach resort in Khao Lak, southern Thailand has opened, welcoming its first guests arriving from Thailand, Germany and Scandinavia.
To mark the opening, Outrigger has announced a special opening rate for guests.
Effective immediately, the new Outrigger 158-key property on Bang Sak beachfront is offering rates from THB 4,100 (US$125) per night for a elegant Deluxe Garden Terrace Room for travel until 18 April 2022.
The opening promotion, called ‘Long Stay Offer’ includes breakfast for two, return roundtrip transfers from/to Phuket airport, THB1,500 (US$45) food and beverage credit per stay, 20% off laundry, and flexible check-in/out.
A minimum seven-night stay is required.
The resort, acquired by Outrigger last year, has been refurbished with new design elements.
The property is absolute beachfront with all rooms, suites and villas featuring a balcony or terrace.
“Guests can unwind in our swimming pool or jacuzzi while enjoying views of the Andaman Sea,” said Tony Pedroni, Outrigger’s Area General Manager for Thailand.
“Our Edgewater beachfront restaurant and bar is proving very popular with a great menu and chillout atmosphere.”
The Edgewater bar & grill features a pool, sofas, daybeds, and tropical swing chairs.
It has been designed as a focal meeting and relaxing space for guests.
Apart from its resort in Khao Lak, Outrigger opened the Outrigger Surin Beach Resort in Phuket in late December.
The Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort is scheduled to open by July 2022.
Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort can be visited under both the Thai Government’s Test and Go or ‘sandbox’ programmes.
