Pampered parents…or children?
Hand-beaded tote bags and designer clothes are among children’s perks offered at Jumby Bay, a Rosewood Resort at a private island in the West Indies. The cost: Starting at $1275 a night (two adults and one child).
The Pampered Parents program includes:
- A culinary welcome amenity for the kids.
- Daily culinary treat served in guest room or suite.
- A Jumby Baybies Beach Tote with sand toys, stuffed turtle and specialty children’s items.
- A Roberta Roller Rabbit (from a New York boutique) including a sarong, a beach coverup and a sunhat.
- Baby Primrose products, including gentle body wash, shampoo and sand toys.
“The Pampered Parents Program offers parents with children aged two to nine-years ample time to indulge in the resort’s many luxury amenities while their kids frolic under the watchful eyes of well-trained childcare staff on nature walks through lush tropical foliage, treasure hunts on white-sand beaches, sea turtle tracking, arts and crafts projects and more,” says the resort.
Nanny services are available for $20 an hour. They provide baby rides in Harrod’s classic Silver Cross prams.
The $1275 price does not include a 10.5% government fee and 10% service fee. The officer is good through 31 January of next year.
