Pandaw to cruise India’s Lower Ganges
Asia river cruise specialist Pandaw will venture to new ports of call in India with itineraries along the Lower Ganges.
The 60-passenger Orient Pandaw will offer weekly Kolkata to Farraka sailings from December 2018 to April next year.
Journey highlights include Serampore, Mayapur, Gaur and Hazarduari Palace.
Prices start at $1,890 per person for double occupancy.
Pandaw previously offered cruise charters on the Ganges but this will be the first time it operates its own vessel there.
"We’re delighted to have our own ship positioned in India and are excited to be able to offer our customers the full Pandaw experience in a totally new destination," said Pandaw founder, Paul Strachan.
"There’s no river in the world as sacred as the Ganges and an expedition on the Lower Ganges is one of the most picturesque journeys imaginable."
Orient Pandaw features 30 staterooms with private verandas, indoor dining, a deck bar and spa.
