Paradise Cruises offers luxury cabin use for Ha Long Bay day trips
Ha Long Bay cruise operator Paradise Group is bringing its luxury private cabins to the day trip market.
Paradise Cruise has just kicked off its new day cruise itineraries offering its luxury cabins for day use.
Two of Paradise Cruise’s four 17-cabin luxury vessels have been repurposed for the new day trip experience providing day trippers with the same level of luxury as overnight cruisers for the first time.
The 23 sqm cabins have private balconies, ensuite bathrooms and large beds providing a more private experience during the day-long cruises.
The vessels also house the onboard Le Parfum Spa while the sundeck is the setting for Vietnamese cooking classes.
"Travelers who can’t squeeze an overnight trip into their schedule now have the opportunity to see Halong Bay in a day in style," said Nguyen Cao Son, chief operating officer of Paradise Group Vietnam.
The new Paradise Luxury day cruise also offers non-cabin packages.
The Paradise Luxury day cruise accommodates up to 50 passengers with an itinerary that visits Sung Sot Cave, and offers kayaking in Luon Cave and climbing to the top of Soi Sim Island for panoramic views spanning the UNESCO World Heritage site.
The company is expecting a healthy increase in visitor numbers with Ha Long bay now much more accessible.
A new express highway and new Van Don International Airport, located 50km from Ha Long Bay, have opened it recent weeks, significantly reducing travel times.
Ha Long Bay is in Quang Ninh province which hosted the annual ASEAN Tourism Forum 2019 last month, showcasing the UNESCO World Heritage site to visiting media and international buyers.
Quang Ninh province received 12.3 million visitors including 5.2 million foreign tourist arrivals in 2018.
During its media presentation at ATF 2019, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism is focusing on coastal assets as well as culture for Visit Vietnam year 2019 and is targeting 17.5 million visitor arrivals for 2019.
