Passenger strips naked on Spirit Airlines flight
One Spirit Airlines passenger took the airline’s infamous ‘bare fare’ ad campaign to heart – by stripping naked on board a flight.
The male passenger stripped off while the plane was still at the gate at Las Vegas McCarran Airport.
"He removed his clothes and then approached a flight attendant," said airport spokesman Chris Jones.
He was then removed from the flight by police.
Las Vegas PD spokesman Lt. Carlos Hank said he was taken to a facility for a medical evaluation.
It caused a slight delay of about 30 minutes to the flight bound for Oakland.
Unlike virtually every other in-flight incident in recent memory, there thankfully seems to be no viral footage posted online, proving once again that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
