Pastor blaster for swingers’ convention
NEW YORK – The Holiday Inn hotel in Grand Island, NY, became the centre of controversy last week after residents learned that it was hosting a swingers’ convention.
The event – named “Entice the Falls†was attacked by a local Baptist pastor who argued that it violated the town’s zoning code, the story says.
Eventually town officials got involved, prompting hotel management to scrub two events from the “Entice the Falls” schedule: body painting and a late-night “Club Erotica” dance party, said the Buffalo News.
The newspaper quoted a local town official saying that Grand Island’s code prohibits all body painting except for kids’ face painting at special events.
The “Club Erotica” dance party appears to violate a provision that bans adult cabarets, the story says. Other activities include a sexy swimsuit contest and a workshop on how to give sensual massages, the article says.
Scott Zeplowitz, the Holiday Inn’s general manager, told the Buffalo News that the convention would follow the town’s code.
