PATA flagship event connects 140 Pacific Asia suppliers and buyers
The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) UK & Ireland’s recently wrapped up its flagship annual trade event, PATA Exchange with over 140 attendees.
In partnership with sponsor Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo, it took place last week in London.
The one-day appointment-based workshop connected UK and Irish buyers with leading suppliers from across the Pacific Asia region, comprising tourism boards, hotel groups, independent hotels, airlines, cruise lines, DMCs and representation companies.
The event is a platform for networking, product development, contracting, and driving sales and marketing opportunities.
First time PATA Exchange members attending included Norse Atlantic Airways, Beppu Tourism Board, Path DMC and ML Representation.
“We are proud to see PATA Exchange firmly established as a key fixture in the UK travel industry calendar. Its continued success reflects the strength of our community,” said Betsie Barr, Marketing & Events Manager for PATA UK & Ireland.
“With so many new faces and exciting developments emerging across the region, there has never been more to talk about.”
David Kevan, Partner & Product Director at CHIC Locations added: “PATA Exchange is an incredibly valuable event. The biggest advantage is the efficiency, I’m able to meet a huge number of key partners and suppliers in just one day.”
Plans are already underway for next year’s PATA Exchange.
