PATAMart 2009 seeking Australian buyers
BANGKOK – Business opportunities in China are attracting the travel industry to book for this year’s PATA Travel Mart in Hangzhou, China (PRC).
In 2008 PATA Travel Mart brought together 1,089 travel and tourism professionals in India.
Attendees included 374 global buyers from 324 organisations and 774 sellers from 301 organisations.
Sheila Leong PATA director-events said, “PATA Travel Mart is very effective in bringing businesses together, not only with the pre scheduled business appointments but also with our hosted functions which provide fabulous networking opportunitiesâ€.
Buyers also benefit from the range of research-based workshops organised by PATA’s Strategic Intelligence Centre, offered at a discounted rate.
PATA organises the each annual event in a new host city, giving attendees the opportunity to discover a different destination each year.
This year China (PRC) showcases the city of Hangzhou.
Australian buyers are invited to register for the event before June 25, 2009 with Global Tourism Interface, the Australian buyer recruitment agent.
