PATA’s David Arscott dies of cancer
David Arscott, executive director of the PATA UK chapter, has died of cancer.
He had been ill for some weeks and was recently admitted to hospital where he passed away on Monday.
Mr Arscott was associated with PATA more than 30 years as a member, chairman of the chapter and executive director for the past 15 years.
PATA UK chapter chairman Tim Robinson said: “He made a great contribution to the industry and will be sadly missed as a colleague and, to many of us, the sort of friend we all hope to have. PATA could not have had a more loyal and devoted member than David.”
Mr Robinson added that the chapter was talking to Mr Arscott’s family about the most appropriate form of tribute to him.
