Paul Wilcox joins AOT
Leading travel company AOT recently appointed Paul Wilcox as General Manager Operations of the wholesale division.
Wilcox joins the wholesale division after three years with Flight Centre Ltd (FCL) including a stint as Brand Leader for Infinity Holidays building the business to what is now a highly profitable business for FCL.
In this role Wilcox was responsible for building the FCL’s internal wholesale business and became known for his commitment to running an efficient, motivated and profitable wholesale division team.
Wilcox’s curriculum vitae reflects strong skills in leadership holding previous roles including Initiative leader for the Major Projects division at FCL.
Prior to joining Flight Centre Wilcox was Director of Operations at Tourism Queensland Commercial Division where he was responsible for both the retail outlets (9) and Sunlover Reservations Centre.
Wilcox fulfilled the role of Reservations Manager for leading domestic tourism brand Sunlover Holidays for four years prior to this.
Wilcox said he was looking forward to the future challenge of working for the AOT group.
“There are many exciting opportunities ahead for the company and I’m ready to help shape the future success of the wholesale division by providing expert leadership and guidance,” he said.
The wholesale division of AOT includes Sunlover Holidays, New South Wales Holidays, Journey Events Travel and Travel Point.
