Paula Lacey takes up new role at The Network
Paula Lacey has joined field marketing company The Network as business development director from Thomas Cook.
Lacey was head of sales for the south and prior to that was trading director at TV Travel Shop.
She joins The Network at a period of expansion with results for the last financial year showing a turnover increase of 58% on the previous year.
The company has also recently relocated to a new UK base in Chiswick, London.
Managing director Jane Dyson said: “Paula’s experience in retail travel, tour operating and new media will be invaluable to us in the next stage of growth.
“More and more companies, not just in the travel industry, are using field marketing as an integral part of their overall marketing strategy, whether it is for face to face training, data capture, on-line initiatives, road shows or generally communicating with their suppliers or consumers.”
Lacey said: “I look forward to utilizing my skill set to spearhead the new business development at The Network. I bring with me extensive travel industry experience but I am also looking forward to working across other divisions of the company, including the media and financial services sectors.”
She will be representing The Network at next week’s ABTA Travel Convention in Tenerife with Dyson and sales director Sally Collie.
