PBL deal to promote Australian tourism
Tourism Australia has signed a deal with media company PBL aimed at promoting Australian holidays.
The deal will result in the delivery of ‘high quality content’ in print, broadcast and online media.
“By partnering with such a diverse publishing and broadcast media outlet we can deliver a rich depth of content on Australian holiday experiences to get more Australians serious about taking their next holiday here in Australia,” Tourism Australia chairman Tim Fischer said.
Tourism Australia said PBL would be one of several media partners it was working to forge relationships with in the coming 12 months.
Mr Fischer said the partnership would target consumers known as ‘experience seekers’ who travel more widely and do, see and spend more.
“Our current strategy is to get the right sort of content in the media that experience seekers consume to convert their interest in domestic holidays into actual Australian travel bookings”.
