Peregrine signs exclusive deal with Trailfinders
Adventure travel brand Peregrine is to be sold exclusively in the UK and Ireland through Trailfinders under a new three-year agreement.
Peregrine, part of the Intrepid Group which also owns Geckos and The Family Adventure Company, is a 30-year-old brand offering small group tours and was previously sold by a number of travel agents.
However, Intrepid said it had opted to work with one dedicated partner to increase awareness of the brand among its target market.
"This also allows us to dedicate more resource to supporting agents selling Intrepid, Geckos and The Family Adventure Company," said a spokeswoman.
Peregrine will be available exclusively through Trailfinders’ 29 travel centres and through peregrineadventures.com.
Michael Edwards, regional director for UK and Europe for Intrepid Group, said: "We are delighted to be working with Trailfinders as our exclusive partner for the Peregrine brand.
"The two brands are a perfect match in terms of their heritage, reputation for quality and similar target market."
He added: "Third party agents continue to be a vital part of our distribution strategy and we look forward to working with them on our portfolio of brands."
The agreement comes into force on October 13.
