Peter Deilmann names new commercial manager
Former Royal Caribbean International business operations manager Marcus Lyall has joined Peter Deilmann River & Ocean Cruises.
He is taking on the role of commercial manager at London-based UK operation.
Lyall is taking responsibility for the financial and operational functions of the company.
He is to develop a strategy to ensure the company is well-placed to benefit from the growth of the European river cruise market in the UK.
Peter Deilmann Cruises managing director Stuart Perl said: “This senior appointment represents an important stage in the development of our UK business and I am delighted that we will be able to benefit from the operational and financial experience Marcus has gained over the past nine years in the cruise industry.â€
Lyall said: “I am confident the skills gained in my previous roles will help us to take our UK business forward and tap into the growing interest in five star luxury river & ocean cruising.â€
