A promotion to support a celebration of 15 years of Disney Pixar characters at Disneyland Paris is to break on Monday (March 1).
The first part of the campaign will run until the end of April, with a second wave of activity hitting in May and lasting throughout the summer.
The marketing campaign includes television commercials, press and poster advertising, digital, retail, direct marketing and PR activity.
It is designed to promote the New Generation Festival at the French park for a year from April 2, celebrating characters from Toy Story, Finding Nemo,Ratatouille, Cars as well as Princess Tiana from new film, Princess and the Frog.
Each of the TV commercials will focus on a different character.
“The New Generation Festival is a one year celebration of the latest Disney characters and stories taking centre stage at Disneyland Paris in 2010 – so it was important that any marketing activity really focused on the excitement and magic these characters bring to the Park,” said communications vice president Francois Banon.
“The new advertising campaign really delivers this – from the character ‘landings’ in the television commercials right through to the billboards, this new campaign will excite and engage families across the UK.”
