Planeta.com holds holiday auction

CANYON TRAVEL has donated a 7-night trip to Mexico’s Copper Canyon to raise funds for Planeta.com. Bids will be accepted via email through Thursday, March 20, 2003. The retail value of the trip is $2900 and the minimum opening bid is $1,000. The winning bid must be paid within two weeks, and the trip must be made in 2003.

Funds raised during the auction will assist the development of online publication as well as conferences. Later this year Planeta.com will host two events in its continuing series online, public dialogues focusing on ecotourism.

The current auction is for two people and includes 7 nights lodging, first-class express train service, sightseeing as specified with local guides, 19 or 20 meals, beverages, all transfers between airports/hotels/depots, hotel taxes & pre-departure travel documents. Items not included are gratuities and airfares.
