Plaza Premium Group expanding across 11 international airports
Hong Kong based Plaza Premium Group is expanding across Asia and beyond with a $55 million investment.
The company unveiled plans for 15 new and enhanced hotels and lounges at 11 international airports.
In mid to late 2020, in-airport brand Aerotel will open in Sydney Airport, becoming the only-terminal airport hotel in Australia.
Aerotels in Kula Lumpur and Singapore are being revamped or expanded.
Plaza Premium Lounge will open at Dubai International Airport next month, and in Sydney, Toronto, Denver and Dallas-Fort Worth next year.
In addition, an integrated Plaza Premium First, Plaza Premium Lounge and Allways airport meet and greet service will be built at Jakarta Airport.
"We are committed to serving over 16 million travellers by the end of 2020, a 10% increase compared to where we are now," said Song Hoi-see, CEO of Plaza Premium Group.
Two new Plaza Premium Lounge locations are also opening in Hong Kong this December and in January 2020.
