P&O Australia cruise brand embarks on last ever sailing
The last ever P&O Australia voyage has set sail.
The Pacific Adventure has departed Sydney on the final cruise under the P&O Cruises Australia brand.
Its return to Sydney will officially mark the end of the P&O Australia brand.
It is on a four-night cruise to Eden in a change from the scheduled Moreton Island cruise planned, due to Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
Pacific Adventure is set for a name change and an upgrade ahead of joining Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet as Carnival Adventure.
It will continue to sail from Sydney.
Sister ship Pacific Explorer joined Resorts World cruises last month.
A third ship, Carnival Encounter, will also get upgraded and join the Carnival fleet.
Encounter’s final cruise as a P&O Australia ship had to be cancelled due to the cyclone.
