P&O Cruises bumps up commission
P&O Cruises has increased agent commission by 1% and will give away an additional 100,000 Shine points during the peak booking period from December to the end of March.
Vice president sales and marketing Alex Delamere-White said the commission boost was in recognition of the support from agents throughout 2020.
P&O said agents will be rewarded for every Select Price booking made until March 1 with higher amounts of Shine points available to win on the ‘Spin to Win’ game on the dedicated agent website.
Bonus amounts include 1,000 points, 5,000 points and 10,000 points, with 5,000 points needed for a three-night cruise and 10,000 for a seven-night Mediterranean cruise.
In addition, to help agents prepare for the Wave period P&O Cruises is holding a series of new virtual visits. Agents can book slots with training and engagement manager Steph Adams.
Delamere-White added: "Our 100k Shine points incentive rewards agents for their tremendous work throughout this year and as we work together to deliver a strong Wave period.
"We have high expectations for Wave given the over-whelming demand for our recently released programme of 2022 holidays demonstrating increased consumer confidence for cruising."
